Álvaro Rada Iglesias: Transcriptional Regulation in Development and Congenital Disease

 

 

The major interest of our laboratory is to uncover the main genetic and epigenetic factors that allow enhancers to control the establishment of development gene expression programs. Our goal is to provide a deep mechanistic understanding of how enhancers execute their regulatory functions during brain and neural crest development, which is fundamental to reveal the molecular basis of several human congenital diseases.
