In our laboratory we try to identify the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the formation of the nervous system from early processes such as morphogenesis to late circuit connectivity. We use the visual system of the mouse as a model because it has been anatomically well described and it is relatively easy to manipulate. We employ a wide array of techniques such as in utero electroporation, mouse genetics, genome-wide approaches, in vivo and vitro time-lapse imaging…etc.
